MCP Servers

Strava MCP Server

MCP server for Strava activities, kudos and laps.

TypeScript · MCP GitHub ↗

This was my first MCP server. It lets an AI assistant work with your Strava data: list your activities, get the details of one, create a manual activity, see who gave an activity kudos, and get an activity’s laps. So you can ask “show me the laps from my last track workout” and get a real answer.

You create a Strava API application and then run a small helper script included in the repo. It opens the Strava authorisation page in a browser and prints a refresh token. The server takes the client ID, client secret and refresh token as environment variables and refreshes its own access tokens. I set it up with Cline, and it should work with any MCP client.

I built it in a day, on 11 March 2025, and it started my run of MCP servers that month. I haven’t updated it since.
